284 – Sheena has a tattoo of a fan that point blank was done poorly. It looks like a web not a fan. She came in with the idea of putting swirls or what ever and give it flow. I didn’t really dig that idea. The flow she wanted would be achieved but it wouldn’t make the piece elegant or beautiful.
This was my idea.. She loved it. I’m siked to keep working on this piece.

Allison came to me with a drawing her friend Tania did for her. It was a great start for a tattoo desig, a thousand times better than anything anyone else has ever handed over to me to get tattooed. But still it needed a few hours of clean up work. Once I got it all drawn up we were ready to roll on the tattoo.
Note the differences between Tania’s sketch (left) and my cleaned up version (right), It’s the little things that make all the difference.

We have a lot of work ahead of us. But we got 3 hours of line work in the first session. That neck part was a bitch, but we both got through it.
I love to see pics of people loving their tattoos. We have a lot of work to do on this one but Dava, is wearing her battlestar tattoo in with pride.

Angela contacted me about covering her tramp stamp. She saw another cover up I did a few months ago it was right up her alley. She wanted a bristle cone pine back piece. Easy cover up of her old 90′s ying yang, sun.

About a year ago I started an awesome vegan revenge sleeve (yet to be finished but that’s another story). This is a light hearted version of the same concept. I love when my clients let me come tickle them with my sense of humor.
I look forward to do this piece in the near future.

Dali loves her doggie as most people do, so when our mutual friend Amber offered to buy her a tattoo session this was her first choice for a tattoo.
We had a lot of fun during the session, watching tranny videos and dancing around as I tattooed her. Can’t wait to finish up and start on the next session. It’s clients like this that make me love to do what I do.

It was a pretty awesome day when I went to Cruzer’s pizza for a vegan pie last week and walked out with a deposit from the owner. Turns out he’s been following my work for a while and decided we wanted me to finish off his sleeve.
He is really into bio mechanical and Bio organic style. Neither of which I have ever done before. So I was honest with him and told him that stuff either looks great or terrible. I don’t want to experiment on him. He opted to go with something more literal and more my style.
He wanted a rotted out old tree with new growth spring from it. So here it is. We decided in order to make the tree work with the tattoo he has currently it would be cool to just have it run right on top of it. Who knows may be we’ll cover it all together or at least redo it. That we will find out in time.
