243- I was in NY last week and had a client stop by with the desire to do a half sleeve dedicated to her love for hip hop and dance music in general. Its always a challenge to do something like this because the mind instantly goes to trains, graf, break dancing and in general is just asking for a 80′s trapper keeper design. That coupled with the hundreds of backyard ghetto tattoos out there, the subject leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
We spent sometime talking about it and she gave me some ideas that strayed from the typical brick wall with the word FRESH sprayed across it. lol.
Now comes on of my favorite parts of tattooing. Taking my clients reference drawing and turning it to something awesome.

Here’s what I pulled from all this.
Session 1 – We got a lot done in 3 hours. We should be able to finish up in March when I come back to NY. Until then happy healing !
ps. Sorry for the blurry pic.
pps. there is a cover up in there too.
