Last week I drew a owl for one of my clients. It wasn’t exactly right for her so we had to table it and push back her appointment. It happens to the best of us, but it can be a bummer when you really like the drawing .This is one of those cases.

But lucky for me, my homie Dava is so rad she came into work on her Battlestar tattoo and after she tapped out of that session she mentioned wanting another tattoo. Fuck yeah, I showed her this drawing and boom she loved it.  so we put it on her. All’s well that ends well.

VEGAN REVENGE PART 2

About a year ago I started an awesome vegan revenge sleeve (yet to be finished but that’s another story). This is a light hearted version of the same concept.  I love when my clients let me come tickle them with my sense of humor.

I look forward to do this piece in the near future.

MAJOR KOI COVER UP

Koi fish make for the best cover ups. In this case, Im covering a 90′s flash koi with a respectable custom one.  And adding another to balance the whole thing out. Add some rocks and waves and bam! We’ve got a leg sleeve you’d be proud to rock shorts and heels with.

Micheal loved his first tattoo so much, three weeks later he’s back to get a sleeve. Now that what I call an art lover!

Last session we started this geisha add on. These color blends are a lot of fun.

Sometimes I think if it weren’t for people getting “tatty zapped” by their “homie” I would have no work.  Another cover up half sleeve on its way! This one will be a garden of gardenia’s growing through the anarchy symbol. Beautifully punk rock.

NEW YORK BACK PIECE

More drawings for my week long guest spot at 1228 tattoo in NY. I’m all booked up for Aprils trip but Im going back out in June so holler if you want to get in!

This is a sneak peak of a back piece Ill be starting. The girl is influenced by Viveros as requested by my client but I put my own original spin on his work with the donkey .

WOMAN IN MOURNING TATTOO

Liv came to me with some super wordy poem she wanted on her arm. Luckily for her I rarely do script. what I do do is I take peoples idea and turn them in to beautiful imagery.  So I asked her what her words mean. She told me and I drew it. Thankfully she is open minded and totally loved it.

Clearly one of my more epic pieces! Super excited about this one.

Session 3 (5.5 hours!  – 13 hours total)

Brooke killed it today. 5.5 hours to finish the black and grey more or less. Im sure it could use another hour to finish it as a black an grey piece but sounds like she might go for color in the fall. Time will tell on that one.

Did a grip today and she is coming back for more in two days!Super trooper!
