ANGEL W/ A GUN

Kylynn wants her guardian angel and apparently her body guard is packing heat.  Google girls with guns, every image is super ghetto/white trash. She didn’t want that vibe. (Thankfully!) so that’s challenge #1.  She also is one of those people who isn’t super comfortable with having a persons face tattooed on them, which as you might have guesssed is my favorite thing to draw/tattoo. So that’s challenge #2.

Here’s what I came up with.  I actually really like it. I hope she does.

Update #2 – Well I guess today’s drawing goes into my upcoming book entitled “Customer Rejects”. Look for it at a tattoo convention near you. Lol. She decided she wanted to go a totally different route.  Face is okay now but mostly she wanted more sex. Pin up angle with a gun. Oh!!! Pin up. Okay.

I spent the better half of the night looking at images of hot chicks (not a bad way to spend the night now that I think of it) and we finally agreed on a pose that made sense for the area. So… Drum roll…

UPDATE : And after all that, she decided, this was too “big” a tattoo for her first.  So yet another drawing for the reject book.  I don’t know maybe I’ll be able to use it for another client, sans the gun and/or wings … time will tell.

Make sure you want a tattoo before you have your artist spend time drawing for you folks.  Your non refundable drawing deposit, is no consolation for the time and effort put into it.  The only real pay off is seeing the art through to completion, ON YOUR SKIN.
